Do you live in Santa Barbara? Have you ever thought about where the water coming out of your tap, is sourced from? If you answered yes to these questions, then you won’t want to miss our upcoming tour of the City of Santa Barbara’s Charles E. Meyer Desalination Plant (Plant).
Construction of the Plant cost $71M, initiated in 2015 and was completed in 2017. The Plant serves residents within the City of Santa Barbara, producing three million gallons of drinking water per day. This volume is equivalent to 3,125 acre-feet of water annually, or roughly 30% of the City’s drinking water demand.
If you’re interested in joining us on the Plant tour, please RSVP <<insert RSVP link here>> in advance. The Plant tour is limited to 20-people, so sign up today and don’t miss out on this opportunity to learn about the facility and our local water resources portfolio.
