Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Job Description

Job Description: You've established your people management and leadership skillsets. Here is where you take it further. You will manage a team of engineers and technicians, driving their performance in the design of automated manufacturing processes, to improve quality, efficiency, and profitability in a growing company. There is a large focus on automation/robotics, equipment calibration, and preventive maintenance. You will also have the opportunity to develop strategies and multi-year implementation plans for new automated equipment, continuous improvement initiatives, and digital innovations.

Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in a related field. Master's in Engineering Management, MBA, or equivalent experience preferred.
•3+ years of management experience. 8+ years of relevant experience.
•Ability to manage, lead, and work in a dynamic and progressive environment. Proven critical thinking and problem-solving and influential leadership ability.
•Strong communication, presentation, and organization skills. Strong technical aptitude and demonstrated business acumen.
•Experience managing vendors/suppliers/subcontractors.
•Lean manufacturing or similar continuous improvement program experience. Certification preferred.
•Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment. FDA QSR and ISO 13485 preferred.

Preferred Experience:
•Robotic technology, (Denso and Fanuc preferred)
•Omron and Allen Bradly PLC programming
•Process/equipment validation: documentation and execution - IQ, OQ, PQ
•FMEA, DOE, SPC
•OEE, MES and CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
•SAP or Oracle - ERP system
•Agile - lifecycle management
